 Bert has been writing songs for acoustic 12-string guitar since he was 18 and has been doing the Open Stage circuit seriously since 2002. He's also recently discovered that it's entirely possible to write songs for guitars with only six strings.
Bert tries to make each song unique and the sound spans the spectrum from Irish- and Renaissance- sounding ballads to folk to new country to rock 'n' roll to very silly; from serious to seriously strange.
He has 4 home-produced CDs and is working on a 5th.
